Valor Open Beta Terms
**Effective date: July 30, 2026**
**Policy version: 2026-07-30-v2**
These Open Beta Terms apply to Valor access labeled open beta, beta, alpha, preview, test, early access, pilot, or similar pre-release access (“Beta”). They supplement the [Master Service Terms](https://www.valorsimracing.com/masterterms), [Privacy Policy](https://www.valorsimracing.com/privacy), [Baseline and Driver Data Rights Policy](https://www.valorsimracing.com/baseline-rights), and [EULA](https://www.valorsimracing.com/eula).
If these Open Beta Terms conflict with an ordinary paid-plan description about stability, availability, support, or Beta duration, these Open Beta Terms control during the Beta.
## 1. Current open-beta offer
Valor’s current public offer is a no-charge open beta for eligible Valor Pro and Team Hub 3 users. The website currently schedules that offer through **August 14, 2026**, but the date is an estimate, not a guaranteed access period. Valor may shorten, extend, pause, limit, replace, or end the Beta—or a user’s participation—at any time, with or without advance notice.
Team Hub 5, Team Hub 10, Valor Competition, commercial venue use, or any other product is included only if Valor expressly identifies it in the activation screen or a written Order.
## 2. No card and no automatic paid conversion
Valor’s current open beta does not require a credit card and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription.
When the Beta ends, access may stop. Valor will not begin recurring charges unless you later choose a paid plan, receive clear price and renewal disclosures, provide or select a payment method, and affirmatively authorize the purchase. Using the free Beta alone is not consent to a future charge.
Valor may offer a paid plan before or after the Beta ends. You are not required to purchase it.
## 3. Pre-release condition
Beta software and services are unfinished. They may contain errors, inaccurate analysis, incomplete features, security or compatibility issues, and performance problems. Features may be experimental, unavailable, renamed, redesigned, rate-limited, or removed.
You should expect:
- frequent application, data, Baseline, model, mapping, voice, overlay, and backend updates;
- mandatory updates that must be installed before continued use;
- interrupted service, restarts, entitlement refreshes, and changing system requirements;
- changes to eligibility thresholds, output formats, APIs, settings, and workflows;
- incorrect, delayed, duplicated, or missing telemetry, Baselines, reports, voice responses, comparisons, or displays; and
- incomplete documentation and limited support.
Do not use the Beta where failure could cause physical danger, property damage, material financial loss, an official event decision, or another high-risk consequence.
## 4. Resets, migration, and possible data loss
Valor may reset, repair, migrate, reprocess, de-identify, archive, or delete Beta accounts, team workspaces, test data, settings, device locks, keys, events, reports, logs, leaderboards, displays, caches, and other Beta records.
Valor does not promise that Beta data will carry into the commercial release. Back up any locally exportable material you need. Some Baselines may be retained in the permanent archive under the Baseline and Driver Data Rights Policy even if other Beta data is reset.
Cloud sync, migration, and upload are not guaranteed. An eligible Baseline may be saved locally before it appears in cloud tools. Valor may reject corrupted, invalid, incomplete, duplicated, or unsupported data.
## 5. Beta Baselines and privacy
The Privacy Policy and Baseline and Driver Data Rights Policy apply fully during the Beta.
This means:
- the driver or authorized rights holder assigns ownership of each covered Accepted Baseline to Valor;
- the Originating Driver receives the permanent Driver License to use, export, share, sell authorized copies of, trade, license, sublicense, or give away that Baseline;
- the two Team Hub settings control teammate drive and export access;
- those settings do not control Valor’s ownership or independent rights;
- Valor may retain, analyze, modify, attribute, post, export, license, sell, transfer, give away, and otherwise use an Accepted Beta Baseline without further contact or payment; and
- Valor may use the Originating Driver’s real name and driver or display name in direct connection with posting, attribution, promotion, sale, licensing, or distribution of the Accepted Beta Baseline.
Do not submit or accept the Baseline terms for a Baseline during the Beta unless you have authority to make the ownership assignment and name permission.
## 6. Testing information and feedback
Valor may collect Beta-specific diagnostics, feature usage, errors, performance, update state, telemetry-derived results, support information, and test feedback as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you send feedback, ideas, screenshots, recordings, bug reports, feature requests, or test results, you grant Valor a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use and commercialize them without restriction, attribution, approval, or compensation. Do not include confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.
The open Beta is not a confidential program unless Valor and you separately sign a confidentiality agreement.
## 7. Eligibility, conduct, and access limits
Beta capacity may be limited. Valor may use waitlists, access codes, regional or technical restrictions, device limits, seat limits, rate limits, test cohorts, or feature flags.
You must follow the Master Service Terms and may not:
- share or sell Beta access keys;
- bypass seat, plan, device, or rate controls;
- manipulate test results or official-review data;
- probe, attack, reverse engineer, or disclose nonpublic security vulnerabilities; or
- use the Beta for unauthorized commercial venue or public event operations.
Valor may suspend or end access immediately for security, misuse, noncompliance, inactivity, capacity, product, or business reasons.
## 8. Support and service levels
Beta support is best effort only. There is no service-level agreement, uptime commitment, guaranteed response time, maintenance window, data-recovery commitment, or guarantee that a reported issue will be fixed.
Valor may prioritize issues affecting security, access, data integrity, or many users. Beta participation does not include custom engineering, setup, event support, coaching, or compatibility work unless Valor agrees separately in writing.
## 9. No compensation or continuing entitlement
Beta participation does not create employment, contractor, partnership, ownership, investment, exclusivity, revenue share, royalty, prize, or future-access rights. Valor owes no compensation for participation, feedback, downtime, data resets, or the discontinuation of a feature.
Beta access is temporary, personal, revocable, non-transferable, and has no cash value.
## 10. Disclaimer and liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BETA IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” “WITH ALL FAULTS,” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY LIMITS IN THE MASTER SERVICE TERMS APPLY.
Because the Beta is provided without charge, for claims arising only from the no-charge Beta, Valor’s aggregate liability will not exceed US $100, subject to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
## 11. Beta changes and end
Valor may change these Open Beta Terms by posting an updated version or presenting an updated acceptance. A new ownership assignment or materially expanded name permission applies to a Baseline only after acceptance that covers it unless an earlier agreement already provides the right.
When Beta access ends, the software license and active features may stop immediately. Provisions concerning Baseline assignments, ownership, the Driver License, name-use permissions, feedback, privacy, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution, and records survive.
