Valor Overlay Service Policy

VALOR OVERLAY SERVICE POLICY
Effective Date: May 15, 2026

Replace bracketed placeholders before publishing: Valor Sim Racing, valorrace@gmail.com, New Mexico, [Privacy Policy URL], [Terms URL].

This policy applies to the Valor service named above when sold through Wix, valorsimracing.com, or any authorized Valor checkout page. By purchasing, starting a trial, installing, accessing, or using this service, you agree to this policy, Valor's Master Service Terms, and Valor's Privacy Policy.

SERVICE SCOPE
The Valor Overlay service provides access to Valor's visual HUD/overlay layer for supported sim-racing sessions. It is designed to show driver-facing visual information generated by Valor, such as radio/status text, track/map context, delta-style information, and selected coaching visuals where available in the current build and supported data set.

WHAT THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
- Access to the basic Valor overlay experience enabled for your account.
- Movable, resizable, closable overlay assets where supported by the current app build.
- Overlay display of Valor-generated information, which may include radio/status callouts, basic map awareness, delta reference displays, and brake/throttle coach visuals depending on the build, track, car, data pack, and account entitlement.
- Layout persistence on your local PC where supported.
- Updates, fixes, and feature changes released by Valor for this plan while your subscription is active.

WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE UNLESS YOUR CHECKOUT PAGE EXPRESSLY SAYS OTHERWISE
- Push-to-talk voice interaction.
- Film Room replay review.
- Advanced overlay assets reserved for Overlay Pro or other higher plans.
- Full automated voice coaching if your plan does not include Automation.
- Guaranteed radar, standings, battle board, relative board, or advanced race-board features.
- Guaranteed support for every track, car, display, capture method, overlay mode, streaming software, VR setup, triples setup, or Windows graphics configuration.

REQUIREMENTS FOR USE
- Compatible Windows PC.
- Active Valor account and active Overlay entitlement.
- Current Valor app build and data pack.
- iRacing installed/running for live-session features.
- A display configuration that allows Valor overlays to appear above or alongside the sim.
- You are responsible for testing overlay placement, visibility, opacity, capture behavior, and distraction level before racing competitively.

DATA, PRIVACY, AND PROCESSING FOR THIS SERVICE
The Overlay service may use live session state and telemetry-derived packets already processed by Valor. The overlay itself may store local layout preferences such as position, size, opacity, and closed/open status. Overlay data can include lap distance, track map points, turn labels, target turn, delta references, radio text, coaching status, and nearby-car context when available. Valor may also process your account entitlement, app version, device fingerprint, and diagnostic logs to provide and protect access.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS FOR THIS SERVICE
- Overlay information can be delayed, hidden, clipped, inaccurate, stale, or blocked by display settings, Windows focus behavior, iRacing graphics behavior, antivirus, overlays from other apps, capture software, or unsupported session state.
- Overlay visuals are supplemental only. They are not a safety system and must not be relied on to avoid crashes or incidents.
- The basic Overlay plan may not include every overlay shown in demos, screenshots, development builds, or Overlay Pro marketing.
- If an overlay causes performance issues or distraction, you must disable, hide, resize, move, or stop using it.

GENERAL TERMS THAT APPLY TO THIS SERVICE

1. Sim racing only. Valor is for simulated racing. It is not real-world driving instruction, real-world motorsport instruction, emergency safety equipment, a guarantee of performance, or a substitute for your judgment.

2. No guaranteed results. Valor does not guarantee wins, podiums, faster lap times, lower incidents, higher iRating, higher Safety Rating, safer racecraft, better league results, or uninterrupted service.

3. Driver responsibility. You are responsible for your own driving, race decisions, inputs, hardware setup, visibility, league compliance, iRacing compliance, sporting-code compliance, and whether Valor is safe to use in your current session. If Valor distracts you, mute it, hide it, stop using it, or pull over safely in the sim.

4. Independent product. Valor is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected to iRacing, iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC, OpenAI, Wix, or any hardware manufacturer unless expressly stated in writing.

5. Compatibility. Valor may require a compatible Windows PC, iRacing, iRacing SDK access, internet, supported car/track data, current Valor app version, current data pack, compatible hardware, and an active plan entitlement. Not every track, car, replay, microphone, wheel, display setup, overlay capture setup, or iRacing build is guaranteed to work.

6. Early-access changes. Valor may be alpha, beta, early-access, or continuously updated software. Features, tiers, pricing, supported combos, baseline data, interface behavior, and service availability may change.

7. Billing and renewal. If this is a recurring plan, it renews automatically at the price and billing interval shown at checkout unless canceled before renewal. Taxes and payment processing effects may apply.

8. Trials. If this plan is offered with a free trial, the trial length is the one shown at checkout. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it may convert to a paid subscription.

9. Cancellation. You may cancel through the Wix Members Area / My Subscriptions page when available, or by contacting [Support Email]. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund prior payments. Recurring plans may remain active until the end of the paid billing period unless canceled immediately, payment fails, or your account is terminated for violation.

10. Refunds. Unless required by law or approved by Valor in writing, digital plans, used billing periods, renewals, trials converted to paid plans, downloads, data access, and partial months are non-refundable. Refunds for duplicate charges, billing errors, or special circumstances are at Valor's discretion.

11. Multiple plans. Buying a new Valor plan may not automatically cancel an older Valor plan. You are responsible for canceling any plan you no longer want.

12. Account and access limits. Your login, access key, installer, update link, device activation, and plan entitlement are for your personal use unless Valor gives written team/business permission. Do not share, sell, resell, publish, sublicense, bypass, reverse engineer, or redistribute Valor access.

13. Data and privacy. Valor may process account status, plan entitlement, app version, device fingerprint, device label, settings, logs, telemetry-derived data, lap/session summaries, voice prompts, transcripts, audio/TTS requests, and support diagnostics to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service. See our Privacy Policy: [Privacy Policy URL].

14. Third-party services. Valor may depend on third-party platforms, SDKs, payment processors, hosting, AI, speech, TTS, and software libraries. If a third-party service changes, fails, blocks, delays, or degrades functionality, Valor may be affected.

15. No misuse. You may not use Valor to cheat, exploit, violate iRacing or league rules, harass others, bypass access controls, scrape private data, redistribute private files, or use the product illegally or abusively.

16. Warranty disclaimer. Valor is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of accuracy, availability, compatibility, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or performance improvement.

17. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, lost-race, lost-rating, hardware, software conflict, league, streaming, or competition damages. Valor's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service during the three months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

18. Master terms. This service is also subject to Valor's Master Service Terms and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this plan policy and a written enterprise/team agreement signed by Valor, the signed agreement controls.
